Team

We have contracted four very experienced expedition guides as a support team. They all have many years of experience in mountaineering, glaciers, guiding in remote areas, rescue operation and military service.

Two of the Norwegian mountaineering guides are IFMGA certified and will have the overall responsibility for safety on the glacier. They have the highest level of certification within mountaineering, climbing and avalanche. They are both active members of Norwegian Alpine Rescue Groups. The camp leader Birgir was at Bouvet Island with us and is mainly responsible for the tents and camp setup.

EYOS have conducted more than 850 expeditions to Antarctica and is a well renowned company. They will be present with one of their experienced Antarctica guides.

Ken LA7GIA is the team leader of the radio operation, the logistics and camp build up, and will coordinate the leadership group.
